Check or change your 2-step verification
If you want to see what your current security layout is, follow these steps.
Web
Go on your name in the top corner
Select Display, security and privacy under Settings
Click 2-step verification
Select Edit default, and choose one of the options
App

Add or remove 2-step verification methods
This is how you can navigate the different verification methods.
Wise app
Here's how to set or remove the Wise app as your 2-step verification method.
Set it up
Download the Wise app and log in
Follow the steps under "Check or change your 2-step verification" above
Under Other verification method, select Wise app
Select Continue
We might send an approval code via SMS to your registered phone number — enter the code and continue
Select Continue — your Wise app is now set up
Remove
Follow the steps under "Check or change your 2-step verification" above
Select the Wise app under Your verification methods
On the app, select Remove this method for Android, or toggle it on iOS. On web, switch off Verify with the Wise app
If you have a new device, but notifications are still sent to the old one — simply follow the steps above to remove the Wise app as your 2-step verification method. Then re-enable it again on your new device.

Authenticator app
Here's how to set or remove an authenticator app as your 2-step verification method.
Set it up
Download an authenticator app such as Google Authenticator, Microsoft Authenticator, 1Password, or Authy
Follow the steps under "Check or change your 2-step verification" above to get to your 2-step verification page on the app or web
Under Other verification methods, select Authenticator app and press Start pairing
Scan or manually enter the code in your authenticator app, and select Continue
Enter the 6-digit code shown in the authenticator app to successfully pair
Remove
Select the Authenticator app under Your verification methods
In the app, toggle off the option and select Remove, or select Remove on the web and confirm
Make sure you remove Wise key from your authenticator app to avoid problems when pairing again
Text message
Here's how to set or remove text message as your 2-step verification method.

On the website, you can set up a different way for us to send the 2-step verification besides SMS:

Remove
Text message (SMS) as 2-step verification can't be removed from Current verification methods, but you can follow the instructions above to change the default.
