You can create and manage groups on your business account. Admins and team members with permissions can create groups.
How can I create a new group?
To open a group:
Select Main Group
From the Groups menu, select Create group
Name the group and choose the default currency
Choose to add money, add team members, and get a digital card
The group’s total balance is shown in the default currency, but you can change this.
How can I edit or close an existing group?
Select the group you want to edit and click ....
Select Edit Group to change the group name or default currency, or select Close group to close the group. Closing a group moves all funds to the Main Group, removes all team members and deletes all the Wise cards associated with that group.
How can I add more currencies to an existing group?
You can do so by adding new balances to your existing group:
Choose the group you’d like to add a new balance to.
Select Open 50+ currencies.
Choose the currency you’d like to add.
How can I add and withdraw money from groups?
Admins and other team members with permission to manage balances can add or withdraw money from a group and can move money from any balances in the Main Group.
To add or withdraw money:
Select the balance within the group that you want to add or withdraw money from
If you're withdrawing money, you can only withdraw it into a Main Group balance in the same currency.
Select Add or Withdraw
Enter the amount and currency
Keep in mind:
It's free to do if it’s in the same currency — for example, it’s free to move money from your GBP Main Group balance, to a GBP group balance.
If you add money from a balance to a group of a different currency, the usual conversion fee will apply.
Currently, it’s not possible to convert money between balances within groups.
