Account details are a set of details for a currency to receive money.
If you’re a resident in Malaysia, you can open MYR account details — you’ll have your own account number where you can receive Malaysian ringgit, also known as RM.
This isn’t a traditional bank account, but you can receive money in the same way by sharing the details with friends, family, clients or companies, so that they can send you money.
They can pay you locally from their Malaysian bank. Once you receive the money, it’ll be credited to your MYR balance.
You can’t get MYR account details for your business account.
Opening new account details
You’ll first need to open a MYR balance. Then you select Get your account details and follow the steps.

You can view and copy your local account details to share with others
You can also request payments from your sender.

Payments from inside Malaysia
Share your local MYR details.
The sender’s bank will give them an estimate when they set up the payment — for any details about how long it takes, reach out to your sender so they can ask their bank.
If you live in Malaysia, you can only hold up to 20,000 MYR in your personal account. To make sure you can continue receiving MYR, withdraw it to an external bank account. Read more on holding limits.
When your sender enters your account details in their bank’s system, they might see “JPM” as the bank. This is our partner bank that we hold accounts with. Although we’re partnered with them, make sure to reach out to us if you have any questions about incoming payments.
