If you’re a US cardholder
The way you change your limits is different.
If you’re using the app:
Go to the Card tab
Tap Limits
Select the limit you’d like to change
Tap the button at the bottom to change to the maximum or default limits
If you’re using the website:
Go to the Cards tab
Select Account limits
Select the limit you'd like to change
Select the button at the bottom to change to the maximum or default limits
If you’re a business card holder
There’s a limit to how much you can spend with your business cards each month. These limits apply across your whole business account.
You can request to increase your monthly card spending limit in the app or online. Only submit a request if you need to spend more than the spending limit offered.
Check your business card spending limits
To request an increase, go to:
Card > Limits > Spending limits
Select Change your spending limits
Select Increase your spending limit
Tell us the monthly card spending limit you need and why
Once you’ve submitted your request we’ll review it and let you know the outcome by email. We can’t guarantee that we’ll approve your request for a higher limit, as it depends on our team’s review.
Remember, your request only affects your team’s card spending limit, not how much money you can transfer to and from your Wise account. Your ATM withdrawal limit stays the same.
You can’t currently request to increase your monthly card spending limit if you’re a sole trader (self employed).
