Sending to ILS
Who can I send ILS to?
You can send ILS to individual and business bank accounts in Israel.
What information do I need about my recipient?
You’ll need their full name and 23-character IBAN.
You will also need to choose a transfer reason from a dropdown menu.
How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?
Once Wise receives and converts your money, it usually arrives in your recipient’s bank account on the same working day. If the recipient bank is Yahav, it usually takes 1 working day for the money to arrive. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.

Sending from ILS
Who can send money from ILS?
You can only send money from ILS if you're an Israeli national, independently of where you live.
What types of transfers can I use to send ILS?
You can pay for a transfer by bank transfer. Make sure to always include your membership number as a reference.
How much can I send?
The maximum you can send is up to 4.5 million per transfer.
Where can I send from?
You can only send ILS from your personal bank account.
How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?
It usually takes 1-2 working days for your money to get to Wise, depending on when you pay for your transfer. Then, we convert it and send it out. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.

I’ve cancelled my payment, how long will my refund take?
We’ll let you know when we’ve refunded your money. It usually arrives in your bank account on the same working day.
Make sure to wait until the above time frame has passed before getting in touch about a refund — we can’t speed up the process.
Can I send money to my friends/families and companies or investments?
Yes you can — but only for these reasons:
Supporting family or friends
Travelling/Tourism
Paying for goods
Paying taxes
Paying supplier
Education
Paying for services provided abroad
Collecting profit from investment
Buying/selling a vehicle
Pension payment
Can I top up my Wise balances with ILS?
Not yet, but we're working to make it available in the future.
