Right now, Assets is only available to UK residents and most businesses that are tax resident in the UK. We’re working on expanding it to more customers, and we’ll let you know when we’re done.
When you hold your money as stocks you pay two fees: a service fee and a fund fee.
What’s the service fee?
We charge the service fee. It’s charged on any balances or jars you hold as stocks. This is an annual fee of 0.40% — we’ll take this out monthly.
You won’t pay the fee to hold over 15,000 EUR if you’re holding your money as stocks.
What’s the fund fee?
BlackRock charges the fund fee. The fund fee is 0.15% annually. It’s automatically reflected in the value of your investment, so you won’t see it charged to your account as a separate fee.
This is the only fee BlackRock charges. You won’t pay any extra fees, even if they’re mentioned in the Key Investor Information Document.
Is there a conversion fee?
The fund’s currency is EUR. Don’t worry — you won’t pay an extra conversion fee if your balance or jar isn’t held in EUR.
But if you move money into a jar or balance in a different currency to the one it’s held in, you’ll pay a conversion fee. We’ll always show you the rate and fee before you convert the money.
