Sending Money with Pix

Sending money to a Pix key will only be available if the transfer is funded from your BRL account. If your money is currently in a different account, you must convert it to BRL in order to send it to a Pix key.

How to set up a Pix

Start the process on the home page by selecting the BRL account:

  1. Select Send

  2. Click on Add a new recipient

  3. Click Search on Pix and type the recipient’s Pix key

  4. Insert the amount and click Continue (you can click on Schedule to send the transfer on some other time of your preference)

  5. Review details and click Confirm and send

If you wish to add that Pix key to your list of contacts, click on Add contact.

How to set up a Pix using the recipient’s account details

  1. In the BRL account, select Send

  2. Click on Add recipient 

  3. Select BRL and click on Bank details (instead of Pix) 

  4. Add the account details

Scan a Pix QR code

To make a Pix payment using a QR code follow the steps:

  1. Click on Scan on home page

  2. Scan the QR code. In this step, instead of scanning, you can also select Enter code or Upload QR code

  3. Enter the amount (if not already pre-established)

  4. Click Continue and then Confirm and send

Pay with a Pix Copy and Paste

If instead of a QR code, the recipient shared a Pix Copy and Paste code, you can follow the steps to make the transfer:

  1. Click on Scan on the home page

  2. Your camera should open, click on Enter code.

  3. Insert the amount to send (if not already pre-established)

  4. Click Continue and then Confirm and send
