Pix limits and trusted contacts

There are different categories for Pix limits:

• Per period: day time (6h to 20h) and night time (20h to 6h).

• Per recipient: you can set a limit to send to individual accounts and businesses.

• Per beneficiary: you can add trusted contacts and establish limits.

How can I adjust my Pix limits?

To adjust your limits, on your profile page (the one you see settings, your membership number, etc.), follow the steps:

1. Select Limits

2. Click on Pix limits

3. Select the limit category you need to adjust

4. Enter the desired limit and click Confirm

There will be a message informing that it takes 24 hours to set the limit. During this time, you'll not be able to make changes. You can either click Yes to proceed or No to go back to adjusting the limit.

In the case of a limit decrease request, we'll immediately accept it.

Another way to adjust Pix limits is from your BRL currency on your main account

1. Select BRL

2. Click in Options tab

3. Select Limits and follow the same steps described above

How to add trusted contacts for Pix?

With trusted contacts added to your list, these recipients won’t have a limit to how much they can pay or receive with Pix.

To choose trusted contacts, on your profile page, follow the steps:

1. Select Limits

2. Click on Pix limits

3. Select Trusted contacts

4. Select a recipient from the list

5. Scroll down until you see the Trusted account option, toggle the grey button to enable it.

Keep in mind that it takes 24 hours for us to remove limits for trusted contacts.
