How much does it cost to convert more than 2 million GBP?

For eligible conversions of more than 2 million GBP (or equivalent in a few select currencies) we'll charge as little as 0.10%. This fee is applied automatically when converting between your Wise balances.

How much is the fee?

The fee of 0.10% for balance conversions applies to all customers for conversions greater or equal to 2 million GBP or equivalent.

If you’ve converted a cumulative volume of 2 million GBP or more within a calendar month, any subsequent balance conversions between AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, or USD during market hours have a fee of 0.10%. 

For example, if you convert 1 million GBP to EUR (or other selected currency routes) two times within a month for a total of 2 million GBP, your next conversions will be at 0.10%.

Am I eligible for the discounted fee? 

  • The discount applies for both business and personal accounts

  • The discount is available for residents of any Wise supported country besides Australia*, Brazil, and Malaysia.

How do I get the discounted fee? 

To get the discount, you need to:

  • make a balance conversion between AUD, CAD, EUR, GBP, or USD over 2 million GBP or equivalent. 

    • E.g. if you convert 2 million GBP to EUR you’ll get the discount, but not for GBP to HUF 

  • convert money during market hours and working days (00:00 — 8:30 PM UTC), from Monday to Friday.

    • make sure it’s not a bank holiday in the home country of the currency you're converting to. E.g. If you’re converting GBP to USD, it can’t be on a US bank holiday  

Limits 

You can convert up to 5,000,000 GBP or equivalent (on conversions between GBP, EUR, CAD and USD). If you want to convert more, you’ll need to contact us.
