What are HUF account details?
These are your very own account details to receive Hungarian forints (HUF) with zero fees.
The account number we give you works in the same way as any Hungarian bank account when you’re receiving money. Just share your account number to your friends, company or customers, and they can send you HUF from any Hungarian bank account.

How to receive HUF
First, you’ll need to get HUF account details.
Then, share your details to the person who wants to pay you. They can pay you by local bank transfer or an international wire (Swift).
We'll always give you an estimate for how long your transfer will take when you set it up.
Payments up to 10,000,000 HUF will typically arrive in a few seconds.
Payments above 10,000,000 HUF may take a bit longer — usually within a few hours on working days, or on the next working day during weekends.
Payments from outside of Hungary
Share your global account details with the person who wants to pay you. They can send Swift payments to your account from anywhere in the world.
They should only send you HUF to these account details, because we can't process international payments in any other currency.
We don’t charge any additional fees to receive international payments in HUF, but correspondent banks might apply their own fees.
It usually takes 4–5 days to receive HUF into your account via Swift.
We use a Belgian BIC code (TRWIBEBBXXX) and a Wise address in Belgium for HUF account details. This is because Wise has an entity in Belgium, so we use a Belgian BIC code for some of our European currency accounts, including HUF account details. You can still use the Belgian BIC to receive payments in HUF to your HUF balance.
Some banks may not be able to process payments using your Hungarian IBAN. If your sender has problems sending to this IBAN, you can receive HUF using GBP account details instead, and the payment will arrive into your HUF balance.
