What are SGD account details?
These are your very own account details to receive Singapore dollars (SGD) with zero fees.
This isn’t a bank account, but the account number we give you works in the same way when receiving money. Just share your account name and account number with your friends, company or customers, and they can send you SGD from any Singapore bank account. And no one pays fees.

How to receive SGD
First, you’ll need to get SGD account details.
Then, share your details with the person who wants to pay you. If they need a branch code, use 003.
When your sender enters your account details in their banks’ system, they might see DBS as the bank. This is our partner bank and we hold accounts with them. Although we’re partnered with them, make sure to reach out to us if you have any questions about incoming payments.
They can pay you by local bank transfer in Singapore (FAST or MEPS). They won’t be able to pay you using GIRO, PayNow, international wire, SWIFT, or by cash deposits.
How long it takes to receive a transfer depends on the payment method. If the person paying you uses FAST, the money will arrive in your account in seconds. If they use MEPS, it can take up to 1 working day.
How much can I receive?
There are no limits on how much you can receive unless your Wise account address is in Singapore, and you’re a personal user.
This is because in Singapore, we’re regulated by the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS). Under the Payment Services Act, you can’t hold more than the equivalent of 5,000 SGD in your Wise personal account.
This limit only applies to personal users, and not to Singapore businesses.
Payments from outside Singapore
You can’t receive payments from outside Singapore or in currencies other than SGD.
