This article covers what you can do if you run into issues when trying to add your Wise card to a mobile wallet, such as Apple Pay.
We support the following mobile wallets
Check the pages above for each mobile wallet’s regional availability.
Unsupported mobile wallets
We're always looking to add more options, but these are the mobile wallets that we aren't able to support at this time.
Venmo
Cash App
AppleCash
Zelle
Wise cards can't be used by third-party money apps. For Cash App, you may be able to send money using your Wise card, but you won't be able to receive money to your Wise card unless you have a UK issued card.
SMS and phone troubleshooting
If you haven’t received the SMS verification code – try sending the code again. If that doesn’t work, try sending it by voice call or email.
If you have a US issued card, but don’t have a US phone number – you won’t be able to add your card to a mobile wallet because we’re not able to send the authentication text to an international number at this time. You can send the code sent to your email instead.
If your mobile wallet app asks you to call Wise for authorisation – we aren’t able to receive this call. What you can do instead is to add it directly from your Wise app from the Card tab.
