Sending to IDR
Who can I send IDR to?
You can send IDR to individual bank accounts in Indonesia. You can also send to mobile wallets, including Dana, Gopay, OVO, Shopeepay and Linkaja accounts.
What information do I need about my recipient?
For transfers to bank accounts, you’ll need their full name, bank name, and bank account number. This should be 8–16 digits long.
For transfers to mobile wallets, you’ll need your recipient’s mobile phone number starting with country code +62.
How much can I send?
You can send up to 490 million IDR per transfer to bank accounts.
For mobile wallets, you can send up to 2 million IDR for unregistered recipients, and 10 million IDR for registered recipients. There’s a monthly limit of 20 million IDR, whether or not your recipient is registered.
How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?
Once Wise receives and converts your money, it takes up to 1 working day to arrive in your recipient’s bank account. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.

Sending from IDR
How can I pay for my transfer from IDR?
You can pay for your transfer by bank transfer, or you can send money from one of your balance.
How much can I send?
You can send up to 1,390,000,000 IDR per month.
Where can I send from?
You can only send IDR from Indonesia.
You can pay for your transfer from any Indonesian bank. You can also make e-wallet payments, but only from OVO.
How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?
Payments made through BI FAST may experience a delay of up to 2 working days due to technical issues with this payment method. You may use other methods such as RTOL or SKN to fund your transfers to avoid potential delays with BI FAST.
It usually takes 0–1 working days for your money to get to Wise. Then, we convert it and send it out. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.

Are there any restrictions on sending from IDR?
You can’t use a credit or debit card to pay for a transfer from IDR.
You can’t send IDR from a business account.
You can’t send IDR via SWIFT.
Where will you refund my money?
If your transfer got cancelled and we need to refund you, we’ll ask for refund account details by email. This is because we can’t see the details of the bank account you paid from.
In Indonesia, we’re legally required to transfer your money to Balai Harta Peninggalan (BHP) after 30 days of the third notification we send you. When this happens, you'll receive a notification from us about the handover. You can still claim your money back by contacting BHP directly — read more on the BHP website.
