You can send SGD to individual and business bank accounts in Singapore.

If you're sending SGD to local bank account details, the maximum you can send is 2 million SGD.

If you're sending SGD to PayNow details, the maximum you can send is 5,000 SGD.

How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?

Once we receive and convert your money, it usually takes 0–1 working days to arrive in your recipient’s bank account, depending on how much you send. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.

How can I pay for my transfer from SGD?

You can pay for your transfer from SGD by linked bank account, debit card, PayNow, or you can send money from your Wise balance. You can also use your credit card if it's issued outside Singapore. You can't use credit cards issued in Singapore to pay for a transfer or add money to your balance.

To send money by PayNow, go to PayNow on your internet banking or mobile app and use our Unique Entity Number (UEN), 201422384R. Then enter your Wise reference number (beginning with P) in the reference field.

If you’re sending less than 1,000 SGD, you can also scan the QR code on our website. You won’t need to manually enter any information, just click confirm.

How much can I send?

You can send up to 1 million SGD per transfer, depending on how you pay. If you pay by card, the limit is 16,000 SGD.

Where can I send from?

You can only send SGD to Wise from banks within Singapore. You can’t send SGD by SWIFT.

How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?

It usually takes 0–1 working days for your money to get to us, depending on how you pay for your transfer.

  • Account transfer and FAST payments take 15 minutes to reach us

  • Credit or debit card payments instantly reach us

Then, we convert it and send it out. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.

Check the guide for the currency you’re sending to for an estimate on how long it will take to arrive in your recipient’s account after we send it out.

I’ve cancelled my payment, how long will my refund take?

We’ll let you know when we’ve refunded your money. The time it takes for you to get your refund depends on how you paid,

  • Card payments take 2–10 working days

  • Bank transfers & PayNow take up to 1 working day

If you paid by bank transfer or PayNow, we might need more information before sending your refund. We’ll send you an email if we do.

Make sure to wait until the above time frame has passed before getting in touch about a refund — we’re not able to speed up the process.
