Sending to AUD
Who can I send AUD to?
You can send AUD to any bank account in Australia.
What information do I need about my recipient?
You’ll need their full legal name that matches their bank account, their full address (we don’t accept PO boxes), their 6-digit BSB and 5–9 digit bank account number.
How much can I send?
You can send up to 1.5 million AUD per transfer.
How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?
Once Wise receives and converts your money, it usually takes 0–2 working days to arrive in your recipient’s bank account. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.

How can I pay for my transfer from AUD?
There are 5 ways to send money from AUD:
How much can I send?
You can send up 1.8 million AUD by bank transfer and POLi, although your bank might not let you send so much in one go.
You can send up to 18,000 AUD by card, and up to 50,000 AUD by PayID.
Where can I send from?
You can only send AUD to Wise from a bank account in your name within Australia. You can’t send AUD by SWIFT.
How long does it usually take for the money to arrive?
It usually takes 0–2 working days for your money to get to Wise, depending on how you pay for your transfer. Then, we convert it and send it out. Conversion can take up to 2 working days.

I’ve cancelled my payment, how long will my refund take?
We’ll let you know when we’ve refunded your money. The time it takes for you to get your refund depends on how you paid,
Card payments take 2–10 working days
POLi payments take 1–2 working days
Bank transfers take 1–2 working days
Manual bank transfers take 5-10 working days
Make sure to wait until the above time frame has passed before getting in touch about a refund — we’re not able to speed up the process.
