With Assets, you can decide how you’d like to hold the money in your currencies or Jars.
Currently, you can choose Cash, Interest or Stocks.
If you choose to hold your money as Interest, we’ll invest all of the currency or Jar in an Interest‑earning fund we’ve chosen (based on your country and the currency).
Earn a variable return on your cash
When you choose Interest, your money is invested in a money market fund designed for stability and liquidity.
The return you earn is variable and can go up or down
Past performance doesn’t guarantee future growth
As with any investment, your money is at risk and you could get back less than you put in (though these funds are designed to be low risk)
Returns are typically reflected on working days (not weekends, public holidays, or non‑trading days for the fund).

The fund we invest in
The fund depends on your country and currency (for example, Wise may use funds managed by providers like BlackRock, JPMorgan, Fidelity, Lion Global, or Franklin Templeton, depending on availability).

Pay low fees
You pay two fees when you use Wise Interest:
a Wise fee (service fee), calculated daily and charged at the beginning of the following month
a fund manager fee, which is reflected in the value of your investment (so you won’t see it as a separate charge)

Use your money any time
When your money is held as Interest:
whenever you add or receive money, we buy units in the fund worth the same cash value.
when you send, withdraw, or spend (including with your Wise card), we sell units worth the same cash value.
We buy or sell fund units once per day, and it can take up to 2 working days to complete buy and sell orders.
On occasion, we might temporarily limit the amount you can withdraw, send or spend each day — but you’ll always be able to get full access to your money within 2 working days.

Large transfers may take longer
You can still spend and send any time, but large transfers in one day can have a processing time of up to 2 working days. The threshold depends on where you live and whether you’re a personal or business customer.
