I wouldn't be here if my great-grandparents weren't allowed to come to the US from Russia and Poland. They worked their butts off so I could have a better life. You bet I #StandWithImmigrants.

I came to this country illegally with my family when I was 8 years old. Today I’m a DACA recipient, which protects me from deportation. I’m also able to go to college and work. We will continue fighting for what’s right. I am a dreamer and I’m here to stay! #StandWithImmigrants

I am deeply sad and angry about what Trump and his party have done to make immigrants feel unwelcome in the US. That is just one of the many reasons I #StandWithImmigrants

I #StandWithImmigrants today, because my family tree disregards imaginary borders dividing humankind. This world needs fairness, and this has to start somewhere .

My mom is an immigrant(now U.S. citizen), teacher in a charter school for children of immigrants. Immigration is good and it is all around us, if we break the borders in our minds, we can potentially break the borders around us.Do you #StandWithImmigrants too?

As an immigrant who's moved to the US as a child, and to Switzerland and the UK as an adult - there's no doubt I #StandWithImmigrants. In 2017, 27% of immigrants feel less in the U.S.

I left my country at 16. I left my family and lifelong friends. I gave up the opportunity to be part of their life to see what the world looked like from the other side. I #StandWithImmigrants and everyone who bravely decided to look at the other side.

What immigration means to us.
At Wise, we believe money should travel more freely for everyone, so that people can live, work, and connect around the world. That's why, in celebration of International Migrants Day, we're asking our customers to explain what immigration means to them. We want to call attention to immigrant communities and remind people that everyone has the right to feel at home in America.
Watch immigrants in America remember their last day home.
Achin left India in 2014. He couldn't be free there because of his sexuality. He's seeking a fuller life in the US.
Sal left Italy in 1966. He was one of the last to go by ship. His lasting memory is of his dad waving goodbye on the pier.
Horacio left Mexico in 2013. He came here to be with his girlfriend. He remains torn about leaving his family.
Maciek left Poland in 1988. He moved for his love of the English language. He stayed for his love of New York.
How does it feel to be an immigrant in America?
Recent US immigration policies and rhetoric have made immigrants feel unwelcome and even threatened in this country. Since many Wise employees and customers are immigrants, this hits close to home.
We partnered with Pollfish to survey 5,000 people to see in detail how their experience of living here has changed lately. We want to put a spotlight on immigrant communities and remind people that everyone has a right to feel at home in America.
Could you pass the US citizenship test?
In the last 10 years, the US has welcomed more than 7.4 million naturalized citizens.
One step in the naturalization process is a 10-question test on US history and government.
